- How do I translate a PDF?
- Upload the file, pick the language you want and start the translation. The extracted text is translated and returned as a document you can download.
- Is the translation accurate?
- It is machine translation. It is usually good enough to understand a document, but it should not be relied on for legal, medical or contractual precision.
- Is the original layout preserved?
- Text is translated and re-flowed into a readable document. Complex page design is not reproduced exactly, because translated text rarely occupies the same space.
- Can I translate a scanned PDF?
- Yes. If no text layer is found, the pages are run through OCR automatically before translation.
- Does Arabic or Hebrew work?
- Yes. Right-to-left output is produced as a Word document, because the standard PDF fonts do not include those scripts.
- Is my document sent anywhere?
- The extracted text is sent to our AI provider to be translated. The PDF file itself stays on your device.
