Add Signature — frequently asked questions
- How do I sign a PDF?
- Open the file, create your signature by drawing or typing, drop it on the page and export.
- Is this a legally binding signature?
- This adds a visible image of a signature, which many everyday agreements accept. It is not a cryptographic digital signature with a certificate, and legal validity depends on your jurisdiction and the agreement.
- Can I reuse the same signature?
- Create it again in the editor, or place a saved image with Add Image.
- Can someone remove my signature?
- It is drawn into the page content. For extra control, protect the exported file with a password.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes — drawing with a finger on a touch screen usually looks the most natural.
