Edit PDF — frequently asked questions
- Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?
- The editor adds new content on top of the page; it does not reflow paragraphs that are already in the file. To rewrite existing wording, convert to Word first, edit there, and export back to PDF.
- How do I add text to a PDF?
- Choose the text tool, click where you want it and type. You can move it afterwards.
- Can I fill in a form?
- Yes, by placing text and ticks where the fields are. Interactive AcroForm fields are not yet supported.
- Are my edits permanent once exported?
- They become part of the exported PDF. Keep the original if you want to revert.
- Does it work on mobile?
- Yes, though precise placement is easier with a mouse or stylus on a larger screen.
- Is my document uploaded?
- No. The editor loads and exports the file locally.
