- How do I convert a PDF to Word?
- Upload the PDF and run the conversion. The text is extracted and written into a .docx file you can download and edit.
- Will the formatting be preserved?
- Text and basic paragraph structure carry over. Complex layouts — multi-column pages, precise tables, floating graphics — will not be reproduced exactly. Expect to tidy the document afterwards.
- Can I convert a scanned PDF?
- A scan contains images, not text, so use Scanned PDF to Word instead. That tool runs OCR first.
- Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
- Unlock it first with Unlock PDF using the correct password.
- Can I edit the converted Word document?
- Yes, the .docx is a normal editable document.
- Why is some text missing?
- Text stored as an image, or embedded with an unusual font encoding, cannot be extracted directly. Try the OCR route in that case.
